Course Description

Organizations are working harder than ever to define their value proposition, and their need to advocate, influence and respond to circumstances has never been more urgent and necessary. In the increasingly turbulent twenties, boards of directorstheir chief executives, and their c-suite teams face increasing expectations and demands from a widening spectrum of interested parties, ranging from staff, clients, and membersthrough sponsors, policymakers, and industry, to shareholders, partners, and suppliers. It is thus increasingly important that professional management be underpinned by an articulation of professional governance.

G4NEDS is self-guided online course designed to help individuals and organisations improve their board performance and impact via a flexible learning environment. It covers a range of specific topics to meet the particular needs of aspiring, newly appointed, and existing NEDs, providing ideal preparation for anyone considering a board role, a suitable induction for anyone embarking on a boardroom career, and a timely refresher for seasoned NEDs.

Delivered via our e-learning platform, G4NEDS offers 8 hours of accessible, interactive, and engaging content, providing a highly motivated learning environment. Each module can be started and completed at any time, providing participants with the ultimate flexible learning experience. Participants also have the opportunity to check their knowledge and skill gains with regular assessments and scenarios throughout. The course has a final assessment for reflection on what has been taught and participants will receive a G4NEDS Certificate to highlight their achievement in completing the course as well as a G4NEDS digital badge to add to email signatures, media profiles, and websites to demonstrate their credentials as a specialist Non-Executive Director
